What Yahoo Finance still does better
Breadth. Yahoo covers international exchanges, options chains, analyst estimates, and community boards. Stock Buddy covers US-listed stocks and ETFs plus major OTC ADRs, and deliberately leaves out the rest. If you need options data or Tokyo-listed shares, Yahoo is the right tool. If you mostly check a watchlist and a chart, Stock Buddy is faster and quieter.
Switching
Sign in (Google or email), search each ticker, and click Add. If you track a portfolio, open the Portfolio tab and enter shares and average cost. There's nothing to import and nothing to pay.
